Campground Amenities

Pets are permitted on all campsites, making it a great destination for those traveling with furry companions.
Types of Campsites
Hocking Hills State Park offers a variety of camping options to suit different needs and preferences:
- Full Hook-up Sites: These sites provide 20-, 30-, or 50-amp electric service, allowing you to power your RV or trailer with all the comforts of home.
- Electric Sites: These sites offer 20-, 30-, or 50-amp electric service, perfect for those who want the convenience of electricity without the full hook-up.
- Non-Electric Sites: These sites are ideal for those who prefer a more rustic camping experience, as they do not have any electrical service.
- Sherman Cabins: These temperature-controlled wood shelters provide a unique camping experience with limited amenities, such as no running water or restroom.
- Primitive “Hike-in” Sites: These tent-only sites are accessible by hiking up to half a mile, offering a more secluded and remote camping adventure.
- Group Camp: This tent-only area is designed for group camping, with pit latrines available.
Reservations
Reservations are required for all campsites at Hocking Hills State Park and can be made up to 6 months in advance. Visitors can make reservations online or by calling (866) 644-6727. A campground check-in station is available for those who need assistance upon arrival.
